Brad Pitt stars as Detective David Mills, a hopeful but naive rookie new to the city, who finds himself partnered with veteran Detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) who's on his way out. Together they attempt to track the killer through the aftermath of his horrific crime scenes, all the while moving closer to a gruesome fate neither of them could have predicted. A gritty, unforgettable film that explores the darkness of human nature, the consequences of unchecked sin and the moral fragility of justice in a corrupt world.
