<div>In early 2026, four Lochaber filmmaking beginners – Callum John McPherson Young, Alice Campbell, Iona Macleod and Georgia Dennis – were selected to develop, shoot and produce their own short films based on their original ideas, through expert mentorship with Astar Media and ScreenScotland, in partnership with Highland Cinema.</div><div><br></div><div>Come and see the fantastic shorts they made, plus the films shot by two other first-time filmmaker groups in Scotland – Intercultural Youth Scotland (Edinburgh) and Lift / Arts (Dumfries and Galloway) – within the same programme.</div><div><br></div><div>Support these great local filmmakers and get inspired to make your own – all tickets just £3!</div><div><br></div><div><div>Please note that some of these films do include bad language and adult themes.
