FWMF26: Pre-Festival Film Selection

A special pre Fort William Mountain Festival (12th-15th Feb) evening, with five fantastic outdoor adventures films! All tickets £15 - this evening includes a short interval. Guardian (12 mins) Balancing fatherhood, a demanding career and elite ambitions, Matt Foot is on a relentless quest to become one of the UK’s top dry-toolers. The Bride of Mont Blanc (27 mins) Elise Wortley straps on her 19th-century hobnail boots and bonnet, and attempts to recreate the first female ascent of Mont Blanc by Henriette d’Angeville in 1838, using only the equipment available to her at the time. Made entirely by a female crew. Parallel Lines (17.5 mins) A short film set in the Scottish Highlands, stepping away from elitism and the chase for grades to remind us why we go outdoors in the first place. Erika, Georgia, and Ryan trade skills, skiing, running, and climbing. Odyssea Borealis (44 mins) Four modern explorers challenge the icy waters of eastern Greenland in an epic 300-kilometer odyssey. Their goal: to scale the untouched northwest face of Drøneren, standing 1,200 meters high. Peripheral (36 mins) Peripheral follows Lucy as she navigates a pivotal stage in her life, balancing the gradual loss of her sight with her love for the outdoors. Through adventure and exploration, the film traces her journey of self-discovery, testing her capabilities and connection to the natural world.PT2H40MPG2026-01-15FWMF26: Pre-Festival Film Selection"FWMF26: Pre-Festival Film Selection"
