An Audience With Kevin Woods
A special evening with filmmaker, mountaineer and musician Kevin Woods. From Dec 2019 to Mar 2020, Kevin undertook an epic challenge to climb all of Scotland's 282 Munros in a single winter season, plus film the whole thing while doing it! Taking in around 2,000km of mountain terrain, the trip paired the demands of walking long distances with an unusually stormy winter weather season. Completing the challenge took every strand of experience Kevin had from his years spent in the mountains, ultimately proving to be one of the most engaging and satisfying things he has ever accomplished. Along the way, he filmed and posted regular updates on YouTube, which have now been combined and edited to create a unique film covering the whole experience, 'Winter 282'. Join us on Thursday 7th December for a screening of ‘Winter 282’, and to hear from Kevin in person about this epic challenge.
